Broccoli Salad

I remember the first time I had this fantastic sweet and sour broccoli salad at a friends house. I couldn't get enough of it. I do make it during the year, but tend to think of it as a summertime salad. It's super easy to make and it gets better the longer it sits.

Val's Broccoli Salad

Salad:

2 bunches of broccoli - cut florets into bite size pieces
1 Bermuda onion - chopped
1 cup raisins
1 cup sunflower seeds
1 lb. bacon - cooked crisp, crumbled

Dressing:

1 cup mayonnaise
1 tablespoon vinegar
1 tablespoon sugar

Prepare salad. Prepare dressing. Pour dressing over salad and mix. Refrigerate.
