treasure found in my friend's recipe box. I'd never heard of Henry Bain sauce
until I saw this recipe. My friend said that the person who gave this recipe to
her is an actual relative/descendent of Henry Bain. While I can't attest to that,
I can attest to the fact that it is absolutely DELICIOUS, and that once you make
this sweet and spicy steak sauce you won't want to use anything else.
Henry Bain Steak Sauce
1 - 12 oz. Chili Sauce 1
- 14 oz. Ketsup 1 - 11 oz. A-1 Sauce 1 - 10 oz. Worcestershire Sauce 17
oz. Major Grey's Chutney 1 - 2 drops Tabasco
Place all in food processor
and process until smooth. Bottle. Makes approximately 6 cups.
Tip's: You may see some commenting that it needs more Tabasco. With 4 drops
we found it more than hot enough for our liking. Add the Tabasco with caution!
